Day Therapy Unit inc Heathfield

The Day therapy service provides patients with nursing care and support from experienced Hospice care staff. It also allows time to relax in a comfortable environment and runs activities and treatments to help alleviate stress. Patients can enjoy reflexology and aromatherapy, have a bath or haircut, take part in art classes or simply have a drink and some lunch. We also organize day trips out.

The Day Therapy team co-ordinate care working together with District Nurses, Macmillans and GP’s.

Transport is provided for all Day Therapy clients if required, by volunteer drivers, or by the Hospice minibus. We are able to accept clients in wheelchairs and with walking aids, and a nurse escort is provided on the minibus.

Day Therapy Times
Day Therapy is open weekdays from 10.30am to 3.15pm at the Hospice and 10.00am -3.00pm at Holdenhurst (residential home) Mill Road, Heathfield.
