Legacy Giving

Help to build on a lifetime of support for generations to come
Making a will is an expression of caring and confirms your love and consideration for the future welfare of your family and friends. There is also an opportunity to remember good causes that may be close to your heart, and by doing so you can ensure that their work is able to continue in the future.
Help us to help others
By supporting St Wilfrid's you can be sure that your generosity is used extremely effectively in providing Hospice care for those who need it most. A gift in your will is vitally important to St Wilfrid's. Our support from legacy donations accounts for a large proportion of our income and is absolutely vital for our continuing work and long term survival. Everyday people, not just the wealthy, make such gifts in appreciation of the care received by a loved one or in memory of some-one special to them.St Wilfrid's Hospice needs in excess of £3m every year to fund fully the care and support we provide and only 15% of this comes from the NHS.
You might also like to consider including a letter of wishes with your will, indicating you would like donations to St Wilfrid's, in lieu of flowers. Your Solicitor can advise you on the best way to leave a legacy.
Leaving a gift in your will to a voluntary organisation is a very important decision. We at St Wilfrid's, strongly recommmend that you seek independent advice from a Solicitor.
